The large handle version features our extra wide opening jaws. This design element allows the surgeon to envelop more bone in a single bite than is possible with the 10 mm to 12 mm openings found on typical Kerrison punches. All large handle Kerrisons include "Big Bite" jaws, and are available in shaft lengths up to 300 mm. Small Kerrison handles and Ring Handled (Ferris-Smith) models are available in shaft lengths up to 280 mm with standard jaw openings.
